However, if an abnormal situation or obvious fault occurs during the operation, the sludge utilization rate of the plate and frame filter press can be greatly reduced.

During the use process, we often encounter the following three problems: Slow movement of the filter plate of the plate and frame filter press: If the filter plate of the plate and frame filter press moves slowly during the opening and closing process of the filter plate when unloading the mud, check whether there are oil stains and stains on the guide rod. If there are too many stains, clean them up in time and apply butter to ensure lubrication. Do not apply thin oil to avoid falling to the ground, which will pose a threat to the personal safety of the filter press operators and maintenance personnel. Water seepage between the plates and frames may be caused by three reasons: water pressure drop, wrinkled filter cloth, holes in the filter cloth, and blocks on the sealing surface. At this time, check them one by one, increase the oil pressure, change the filter cloth, and remove the blocks on the sealing surface to solve the problem.

The plate and frame filter press cannot form a sludge cake after treatment, or the sludge cake is uneven. The low sludge feed volume, or the filter plate of the filter press is blocked or deformed, will cause the filter cake to be unformed and uneven. The traditional plate and frame filter press uses cylindrical filter plates, which are used for a long time and are prone to such problems. The solution to this problem can be to increase the sludge feed, clean or replace the filter cloth, clean the drainage holes, increase the pressure of the sludge feed pump, start at low pressure, and start continuously.
